WOW, it has been 1Whole year, 52 Weeks, 365 Days, since we received Emma in Lanzhou, Gansu, China. We spent our one year anniversary in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Salt Lake City Marriott City Center Hotel, Eating "Chinese" Food at PF Changs, and Seeing Emma's Chinese Hand Dr, Doctor Wang at the Shriners Hospital. How Chinese could we get than that?????

EMMA July 13, 2009We were just trying to remember all of Emma's stats when we got her (we have them written down somewhere). She was 19 lbs and around 30" tall. She is 30+ lbs now and 36" tall. She counts to 20, says her ABC's and talks all the time. We are so proud of our little girl. She loves her Mommy (now) and Daddy (probably mommy more than daddy now), and WE love her so much more now, than even before we went to pick her up in China. GOD HAS BLESSED US IMMEASURABLY WITH HAVING EMMA AS OUR DAUGHTER!!!!!!
Oh and her doctor at Shriners said we don't have to come back for another year. WOOHOO!!!! We have had more than enough road trips to Utah last six months.
