Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. -Isaiah 43:5

An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break.

In and Around Shamain Island.

Where we have been staying the last week is an "island." It is a man made island because water surrounds it. It is very colonial in style, and has many statues with children displayed playing, running, etc.... Many of the locals go and play games, sing, exercise, and do Tai Chi. We saw the gentlemen below, but just standing there, completely still like statues. I guess they were praying or meditating.
Here are some of the statues on the island.

Eric, showing them really how to use the abacus.

Evelyn, negotiating her next shopping purchase.

Jenn wants to know how to get to the mall.

Many courtyards where people gather.

Very tropical, and hot and humid. Have we said how hot and humid it is here?
Something was lost in the translation, I think.

Hi guys!

We'll be praying for your return to the US! Reading all this has made me want to pack up my bags and come for a visit to meet your cute little girl!
Blessings!
Debbie :)
