Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. -Isaiah 43:5

River Boat Dinner Cruise

Front row view from second floor of the river boat.

Majority of the people on the second floor were from our CCAI Agency. The rest were Chinese people enjoying the cruise too. Although we did not enjoy their cultural habits of cutting in line at the dinner buffet. Seemed like we were going no where in line, because we would wait for the person ahead of you to get what they wanted, and then somebody else would sneak in there to have some too.

Looking in from the outside.

Views of the river and land from the boat.

This boat was very similar to the one we were riding on.

Night time on the pearl river is pretty spectacular.

This area is where we spent a lot of time walking at night when it is cooler.

The White swan Hotel is in the background.

One building kept flashing Olympic mascots on it. Now if we were here for the Olympics we would know the names of the mascots (our guides would be disappointed in us,) but we could call them Emma for now.

Replica of the Golden Gate Bridge, maybe?!?!

Part of the precious Cargo on board.

Evelyn has been one of the most important parts of the cargo on board, that has helped us all throughout our trip, and has taken many of the photos.

Don't spilt. I read something a few weeks ago about the Chinese government working hard to improve the manners of the Chinese public before the Olympics. Spitting was one area they were focusing on. They were also working on improving the English translations of their signs...

Looking forward to your imminent arrival. If you would like food brought over, we'd be happy to bring it, but would like you to contact us to request a delivery time as we are unsure when you will be sleeping. We can drop it by the front door and call you to avoid exposing the child to foreigners just yet. Jet Lag + small child = wacky sleep schedule.
